Jess: I've noticed lately that there has been a large lacking of good magical fantasy stories. In Fanney's "Luthiel's Song," I found my cure. I could almost smell the magic emanating from this book. Luthiel is a great heroine, with the right balance of naivety and strength to make you mourn for the good old stories. Although some of the names and places are decidedly Tolkien-ish, the story itself is a new one, with fabulous adventures and creative landscapes. This is the kind of book that everyone can enjoy, even those who generally don't read the fantasy genre. Who doesn't love a book that takes you from your reading chair and whisks you off to another world? I highly recommend this book for anybody willing to be whisked away. Availability on amazon.com is limited, but you can order "Luthiel's Song" directly from the publisher by sending a check or money order for $18.99 ($15.99 + $3 S&H) to: Dark
